Tiens Indonesia made donations to Aceh

The recent tsunami in Indian Ocean brought disasters to Southeast Asian countries and touched the heart of every Tiens people as well. After Tiens donated products to Sri Lanka, Tiens Indonesia donated RP 150 million to the tsunami-wrecked region of Indonesia's Aceh Province via the local Red Cross Society on Jan. 10, 2005. By the reporting day, the donation had been forwarded to Mr. Marie Muhammad, Chairman of the local Red Cross Society. It was said the upcoming donations would be remitted to Aceh.

When the donation ceremony was over, Mr. Marie Muhammad and Mr. Bai Feng, General Manager of Tiens Indonesia had a friendly talk on the Aceh relief and reconstruction.

Since the tsunami happened in Southeast Asia,Tiens has been striving to help the people in disaster. Tiens hoped to call on more people to help the people confronted with pains, diseases and poverty, and wished they reconstruct their houses earlier and shake off the great damages by the tsunami.
